GENERAL

  • Winnebago Manufacturing Company is located in Blue Earth, Minnesota.  We strategically located just off Interstate 90 and 45 minutes from Interstate 80.  We are just 45 minutes from Mankato, Minnesota, and 1.5 hours from Minneapolis/St. Paul.

  • Winnebago Manufacturing Company is a metal fabrication job shop.  We do NOT have any relation to RV manufacturing, our name comes from our original facility located in Winnebago, MN.  

  • All customers have a dedicated sales representative, and a back-up contact, that is in the manufacturing facility that can answer questions or address any potential issues.

 

CAPABILITIES

  • We are a one-stop metal fabrication job shop with unique capabilities for rolling, torch cutting, forming, welding, machining, sand blasting, stress relieving and painting. You can view an overview of our capabilities at bagomfg.com/overview.

  • WMC has four plate bending and rolling machines.  For complete details on our plate rollers:  bagomfg.com/rolling.

  • Description text goes hereThis depends on the thickness of the material. For thinner materials up to 5/16, we can roll up to 72" wide with a min of 6" radius.  The thickest we can roll is 2.5" x 60 wide with min 8" radius. 

  • We have two bar rollers, Roundo R-5 and Roundo R-3. You can go to bagomfg.com/rolling for a description and video of our rolling capabilities.

  • We can roll from bars to structural steel products. We can roll bars on edge 2" x 3" max and on flat 2" x 2.5". Minimum thickness is .1875 and .5.

  • Item descriptionYes, we can roll round, rectangle bars, square tubes, angles, and beam.

  • We have a hydefinition plasma torch with a beveling head and an oxy fuel torch. We are able to cut plate or sheet 10ft x 20ft up to 2" thick on the plasma torch and 8 ft x 12 ft up to 5" thick on our oxy fuel torch.  Both with a tolerance of +/-.06.

  • We also have a band saw and shearing capabilities to cut certain materials.

  • We do not have a laser or tube laser, but we do have certified vendors with these capabilities.

  • We have a 400 ton x 14 ft brake press and a 250 ton x 12 ft brake press.

  • We have a Supermax CNC 50 vertical Machining Center. The bed for this machine is 24" x 48".

  • Our large sandblasting booth is 16′ W x 14′ H x 30′ D and can handle large projects.

  • Our paint booth is 21ft wide x 15 ft high x 60 ft deep.

  • We do not have powder coating capabilities in our facility, but we do have certified vendors for powder coat painting.

  • Stress relieving is a process of heating material to reduce stress in heat affected areas to improve the stability of the material and minimizes the risk of weld cracking in weldments.

  • Stress relieving your parts will relieve the stress of the processes that make up the part. Minimizes the stress a part goes through when being processed. Check out our video about stress relieving bagomfg.com/stress-relieving.

  • Our oven is 10 ft wide x 15 ft deep x 10 ft high. It can heat up to 1250 degrees F with a 20,000 lb load capacity.

  • WMC outsources less than 10% of orders due to our extensive in-house capabilities. If we outsource any part of a job, we have long-term relationships with many proven, certified suppliers.

  • We have multiple cranes ranging in sizes from 1,000lbs to 20,000lbs.

  • We will notify the customer about any delays in process if a machine or equipment goes down. We have a very knowledgeable and dependable maintenance supervisor to fix most issues.

 

QUALITY & CERTIFICATIONS

  • Winnebago Manufacturing Company is certified to ISO 9001:2015 for the Manufacture of Custom Steel and Large Structural Fabricated Products.

  • We have a tolerance of +/-.06 for most of our capabilities.

  • Yes, we have 10 ASME certified welders and our Quality Assurance Manager is a AWS-CWI.

  • Currently, we are not certified for military welding, but are going through the process of certification.

 

LEAD TIME

  • Lead times will vary based on the complexity, quantity, and material availability for your project. A typical lead time for a simple fabricated part is 3 - 4 weeks but will vary based on market demand.

  • Winnebago Manufacturing Company has maintained 98% on-time delivery for 2022. If for any reason a part is delayed, we will communicate with you to work out the best solution possible.

  • We understand the importance of getting quotes returned to you quickly. Quote turnaround is based on the complexity of the part, but a quote for a simple fabricated part is typically completed in 24 hours. If you have a specific deadline, please let us know.

 

PRICING

  • We quote every job per your prints and specifications, so it is very difficult to provide accurate ballpark costs. Providing you accurate pricing is important to both of us.

 

MATERIALS

  • Per our ISO 9001-2015 Certification, we have relationships with a large number of certified suppliers for all types of materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, steel tubing, steel plate, specialty plate, aluminum, abrasive resistant steel, structural steel, and more.

  • Yes, customers can supply materials. We do prefer to supply materials from our certified suppliers to confirm it meets the requirements for the project.

 

DELIVERY

  • We do deliver with our in-house trucks for local deliveries and have a great logistics network for other means of shipping.
